Gregory Townes delves into the world of horror, sci-fi and suspense with The Tribe. This novel will take you on a ride that has you holding onto your seat, fearful of the unknown and laughing at the same time. Talk about a crazy day, David has had one of the strangest. The heat in New York City was causing people to act strangely, turning the city into a cesspool of nastiness. David would never look at buying a pair of tennis shoes for his precious daughter Star the same ever again. From the time you start this novel, until the end, you’ll be wowed. Thou shall not mess with the spirits of the Tribe. An old century slave trader has come back from whence he came and greed has consumed him. He wants the power of the Silver Eyes for himself and he will stop at nothing to get it. David becomes very anxious when his daughter Star starts acting bizarre, soon become amongst the strange. He finds himself walking for miles and miles, during the day and during the evil of the night to find the answer. It’s not until the mother of his daughter Sharon dies that he begins to get some answers to the strange activity. He soon finds that all the strange events have two things in common; his daughter and the Silver Eyes. You will enjoy this book from front to back and will not want to put it down as the suspense of what will happen next and who is actually who will have you in awe. Gregory Townes is a good story teller with an amazing imagination, you will want more. The Tribe will resurrect your doubts about race relations, ancestry and witchcraft. Illusions aren’t real, or are they? |
