The Kandie Shop, by Shelia M. Goss is the first in a series of shorts called Love Bites. Shelia never ceases to amaze me with her ability to whip open a can of story line, add tons of character and pinch of romance and adventure.

The Kandie Shop’s owner, Kandie Taylor, has sworn off relationships with pro-athletes after a failed relationship with now New Orleans Hornets player, Marcus Johnson—that is until Trent Davis.

This is an excellent story that I would like to see bloom into a full blown novel.
